![life comes at you so damn fast. one minute you’re on a bucket list trip and the next you’re getting laid off.
and somehow…what a damn relief 😮💨
some backstory: for the last couple years I’ve been wanting to quit my corporate job [at heart I am SO not a corporate girlie]. I tried to make it work in diff ways, but the truth is I was mentally, physically, emotionally worn tf down.
Working on my passion on the side while a 9–5 quietly drained the life out of me.
When my husband and I did our family planning at the end of last year, I told him “obedience breeds abundance.” Ironically, I wasn’t fully being obedient at all because I dodged every single sign I prayed for and dragged my feet on getting out of a situation I had grown out of. But listen, sometimes God will make you so uncomfortable that you don’t have a choice but to move.
So here’s to running full speed toward everything He has for me. Here’s to leaning fully into my gifts and nurturing my business [go ahead & follow @clscreativeco].
Here’s to moving in alignment and not out of desperation. & to sharing my testimony, even when it’s messy and unfinished because this isn’t the end, it’s just the beginning.
I have no idea what’s ahead, but I know I will live an abundant life. let’s just call this getting back to HER 🙌🏾

— centrally located [& right next to one of the largest Zara stores]
— amazingggg hospitality
— great amenities [our favs were the gym, sauna and indoor plunge pool]
— great bar downstairs that we visited multiple times @capitulorestaurantbar
we booked the Grand Room with king bed for reference

• quick pit stop at @agavelab.lisboa for the peri peri marg
• a drink at @liverpoolbarlisboa on Pink Street because why not [the DJ was so good]

anyway 😂 this go round we went to @roomserviceclt located in @campnorthend. we love good craft cocktails and a neighborhood bar feel & this spot gave both
loved the holiday vibe they had going in December! the cocktails were unique and we really enjoyed the food as well [they serve an assortment of sandwiches and small apps]
what we got
— food: get ranch or die tryin & classic smashburger
— drinks: odd bird, no shrubs, ambient gay pop, & jeff goldblum drinks for free

on our anniversary trip we did exactly that. slept in, laughed hard, ate and drank good, met new people.
