What I’m Loving This Month: A No-Gatekeeping List

Updated: Apr 21

The beauty, fashion, and tech finds I’ve been reaching for on repeat lately. Consider this your permission to add-to-cart—these picks are too good not to share.

Woman smiling with highlighted favorites: jacket, perfume, shoes, ring, skincare. Text: "10 Things I'm Currently Loving!” Mood is joyful.

Lately, I’ve been leaning into the things that make life feel a little more luxurious, a little more effortless, and a lot more enjoyable. From skincare staples that actually work for me to tech that makes everyday life smoother, these are the ten products I can’t get enough of right now. Personally, I loveeee a good roundup. So, whether you’re looking for beauty must-haves, wardrobe staples, or a fragrance that turns heads, you’re in the right place. Now, pull up a chair, take out your notepad, and let’s get into what I'm loving this month!

Note: if you’re less of a reader and like more video roundups, check out my YouTube video covering all these products in detail!

Skincare

  1. Beekman 1802 Oh! Mega Milk Fermented Barrier Boosting Facial Oil: My skin has been drinking this up! It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling deeply hydrated without any greasy residue. I love how it strengthens my skin barrier and gives that fresh, plump look. If you’re not familiar with Beekman 1802’s cruelty-free [and clean beauty] skincare products, they are made from goat milk, which has 31 active nutrients (AHAs, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, proteins). If your skin needs some extra love, this is a must-have! [Use my code ChantaS20 for 20% off your order]!

  2. Eadem Mami Wata Barrier Strengthening Face Mist: This face mist is like a talllll glass of water for my skin. It soothes, hydrates, and keeps my skin calm throughout the day. I love using it as a toner in my routine or even as a midday refresh when my skin needs a little pick-me-up. Plus, the mist is so fine and even [no annoyingly aggressive sprays here].

Body Care

  1. Nécessaire Aluminum-Free Extra-Strength Mandelic Acid Deodorant: Let’s be real, finding an aluminum-free deodorant that actually works is a struggle. For me, finding ANY deodorant that works long-term has been quite a challenge. But this one? A total game-changer and I’m not hyping it. I am a sweaty girl, not gonna lie. It keeps me feeling fresh all day and doesn’t irritate my skin like some other natural deodorants I’ve tried. And in the event I do sweat, I don’t smell. I love both the Olibanum and Santal scents as they are both subtle yet luxe. It also doesn’t leave me feeling sticky.

  2. Josie Maran Pink Algae Pro-Retinol Body Butter: This body butter is a dream. It’s rich and creamy without feeling heavy, and it makes my skin ridiculously soft. The pro-retinol from pink algae helps with texture [bye-bye strawberry legs] and firmness over time. Plus, the scent is light and fresh, making it perfect for layering with my favorite fragrances. I lather this on fresh out of the shower after I’ve applied the Nécessaire Body Oil. This seals everything in nicely.

Makeup

  1. Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder: I wasn’t sure what to expect with a balm-to-powder formula, but wowwww, this product delivers. It smooths out my skin, blurs pores, and gives the perfect soft-matte finish without looking cakey. It’s super lightweight and keeps my skin looking fresh all day. Perfect for those “no-makeup makeup” days but also buildable enough for full coverage glam. It’s been the only “foundation” I’ve been wearing for months.

  2. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Contour: This liquid contour melts into the skin seamlessly, making it look like a natural shadow instead of an obvious stripe. The formula is super lightweight but pigmented, so a little goes a long way. If you want an effortless, sculpted look without spending extra time blending, this is it. You also don’t have to let this set too long before blending it in. Apply and start your blending!

My [Current] Signature Scent

  1. Lattafa Fakhar Gold Extrait Eau de Parfum: This fragrance gives luxury at a fraction of the price. It has the perfect balance of warm, sweet, and slightly spicy notes that make it feel sophisticated yet wearable for every day. The longevity is impressive and I can still smell it on my skin hours later. If you love rich, opulent scents without the designer price tag, this one’s a winner. Y’all…it’s less than $30!!

Fashion / Style

  1. New Balance 1906A: Sneakers that look AND feel good? Sign me up. These have been my go-to for everything from running errands to casual weekend outfits. The cushioning is amazing, making them super comfortable for all-day wear, and they have that perfect mix of sporty and stylish. They’re so good I got two different colorways and also snagged my husband a matching pair.

  2. Faux Leather Cropped Jackets (Amazon & Macy’s) – If you’re looking for a budget-friendly way to add a little edge to your outfits, a faux leather cropped jacket is the way to go. It instantly elevates even the most basic outfits, whether I’m throwing it over a dress or pairing it with jeans and sneakers. The fit is flattering, and the cropped length keeps it realllll cute. I also love the color of these as one is a darker green and the other is merlot.

Tech

  1. Oura Ring 4: This little ring is a powerhouse when it comes to tracking my health and surprisingly has also become one of my favorite pieces of “jewelry.” It monitors sleep, recovery, and activity in a way that’s super intuitive and easy to understand. I love how discreet it is compared to bulky fitness trackers, and the insights it provides have really helped me be more mindful about my rest and movement. If you’re into wellness and optimizing your daily habits, this is a must-have.

That’s my current lineup of obsessions this month! Let me know if you’ve tried any of these or if you have recommendations I should check out next. ✨ See you next month.
